About Us

Okie Dokie Comics was founded on March 21st, 2021, by Andrew Cunningham.

Cunningham wanted more out of life, after some career setbacks he thought if he could create a business that he'll always have work. Inspired by his Aunt Connie Williams he took his childhood dreams and made it a reality.

Since opening for business Cunningham has traveled around the state spreading awareness of this comic publishing company, and the series he has in mind. Cunningham shares his story of navigating the comics industry and teaching others how to create comics themselves.

Okie Dokie Comics is the first Black & Queer Owed Comics publisher in the state's history and continues to find innovative ways to produce comics in a small and controlled scale.
